About Event

The ISTE STUDENT’S CHAPTER at Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, which is the biggest of its kind in the country, is organizing SREEVISION’14, a National Level Techno-sports-cultural Consortium. The fest conducted in 2009 after a hiatus of 4 years was a huge hit with the student’s community. Since then, the board and college management has introduced SPORTS and GAMES as a part of the event. Apart from sports and technical, we also have MIRTH as the inter-college cultural pavement that provides the students with enormous enthusiasm and refreshment as a part of their overall personality development. We, at ISTE-SNIST have always been striving for excellence in every venture, emphasizing on team work at all levels. And we are always ‘Committed for Excellence’ SREEVISION’14, to be held from 1st September to 7th September this year is a culmination of technical & non-technical events aimed at boosting the technical and managerial skills and cultural and sports to uphold and improve one’s overall personality. This podium provides an opportunity to showcase one’s conceptual depth, innovation and talents. The events at SREEVISION’14 prove to be the ultimate test of one’s grit, knowledge and skills. Events

The following are the events which are being held every year. Apart from this, every year there are many other exciting, innovative events. Technical Events: Papers, Posters, Projects, Quizzes, Robotics Sports & Games: Outdoor: Football, Basketball, Volleyball Indoor: Chess, Carroms, Table Tennis Non Technical: LAN Gaming, Photography contest adn many more exciting spot events. MIRTH(Cultural Event): Spiccato: Celebrity Concert Feet-O-Mania: Dance competition for Solos & Groups In Detail about Sports Events: 1. Football: It is a knock out tournament and lasts for 7 days. Almost 40 teams register every year from colleges all over the state. It is the largest of it's kind 2. Volleyball: It is a tournament that lasts for 3 days. Many teams take part from all over the state every year for this tournament. 3. BasketBall: This is a 3 day tournament where we have a large number of registrations turning up every year. 4. Chess: It goes on for 2 days. Many Individuals come up for this event every year. 5. Carroms: This is another indoor event where in huge number of individuals turn up every year. 6. Table Tennis: It is a two day tournament where in teams from many colleges participate in it.
